Select Computer Services is a locally-owned computer services group that has been serving the Columbus and Bartholomew County Indiana area since 2005. The idea for the company arose from the fact that, while there are other options for computer services in our area, we recognized the need to offer a more "to your door" approach to customer service.

With that approach, we offer you the opportunity to be involved with restoring your computer to a healthy state. We encourage our customers to sit in on the troubleshooting aspect of the service call to see what we see as we ascertain not only the problem, but the solution to get you up and running again as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, not all problems can be solved on-site. Occasionally the need arises to address issues such as hardware and or software failures. When it is determined that this type of service is needed, it is far more cost-effective to let us bring your computer back to our office, where we can perform the repairs without being "on the clock" of an hourly-based service call.

We understand that as computers have become more and more a part of everyday life, the more important the reliable functionality of your computer becomes. We are well aware of the hopeless feeling when a computer encounters a problem that poses the risk of causing the potential loss of your important data. Computers are inherently complex machines made up of several mechanical and electronic components that under stress and time will inevitably fail.

All that said, we want you to feel like your computer is in good hands. Thus, another reason we offer in-home service. You won't have the hassle of packing up your machine and carting it off to a big box store. If it needs to be moved off-site to facilitate the most cost and time-effective repair solution, we'll take care of that for you and return it as soon as the job is completed.
